I have an Indian friend with AMAZZZING hair.. she swears by this stuff.. I finally got around to looking at it... all of it sounds delish... but just seeing if any LHCF'ers have tried it...

It's kind of on the expensive side so I'm not trying to order a ton of it and have it not working for my type of hair.. :look:

It's like Tigi's higher end brand.. I think.

I've used the shampoo and conditioner a long time ago. It smells really nice and I liked it well enough. A stylist recommended it for me (a black stylist).

But It didn't do anything special. I suppose the one special thing it has is a bit of shimmer in it. it used to stay on my hands and arms LOL. It's supposed to make your hair look really shiny- but if you use any type of heating tools you can kiss that goodbye. The shimmer stuff is only effective if you air dry

Aveda, heck even Suave work just as well for me. I preference La Bomba conditioner or Nacidit now. Those work better than S Factor, In my opinion.

Which one was it.. the Diamond Dreams? I'm thinking about the Smoothing one (for my BKT)... although that one sounds good... Although I don't want any shimmer in my hurr...:look:

Thanks hun!!! Your hair is B E A U T I F U L!!!

I Just Looked at the S Factor Serious Conditioner. It sounds good.

My Next Purchases will probably be a couple of Alaparf Items.

I will keep this one close tho':look:

Thank you, you are kind

I had the "S factor Smothing Conditioner Shines and Re-hydrates"
the shampoo has the glittery stuff in it, the conditioner does not.

oh- and if your friend is Indian she's probably soaking her hair in unrefined coconut oil, which, as many ladies here will tell you DEFINITELY makes for great hair! if you use coconut oil you can wash your hair with laundry detergent and it would be beautiful lol

i love the smoothing lusterizer and the flat iron spray. Im not so much on the shampoo or conditioners

I have the Serious Conditioner. I really like it. It works well. However for the price, it may just be better to buy a cheaper deep conditioner from one of our online LHCF vendors.

GIRL I have the Serious conditioner and I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! I am 51 weeks post relaxer (stretching) I could not have made it with that stuff and my steamer. I live on an island and they have been out here for about 2 months and I had to order from Amazon. Yes it is a little expensive but for me it is well worth it!

The Shampoo: Just ok

The conditioner: wonderful detangler if transitioning.

The leave-in: not at all impressive

The cream (forgot the name): not impressed. It broke my skin out.

The last time I tried this line was during the winter of 2007.

FINALLY, something that I can suggest to you Fab! There are a couple of threads on the S-Factor Serious conditoner. I contributed to one of them and I LOOOOOVE LOOOOOVE LOOOOVE it! It is VERY moisturizing... even during this transition.

It does have a little protein in it, which I'm sensitive to so I use it every so often. Now that I'm transitioning I can REALLY see the wonders it works (more than I did when I was relaxed). Get it! :poke:.
