DO any of you guys use s curl? wat are u usng this product for exactly wat does it do? it is a good moisturizer and do u put t on like dat or mix/dilute it with other products? like?....plez reply

it is a good moisturizer. I don't mix it with anything. As a daily moisturizer i opt for another product, but i use s-curl when i want to lay my edges down or when my new growth is unbearable. I used to use it as a detangler after i deep conditioned my hair, but now i use something different. HTH

So wat do u use instead now??? ne reasons 4 the change do u recommend it

I do not like s-curl: it leaves my hair really gunky: a lot of ppl like s-curl so you can't take wat I say to the heart. I use CareFree Curl Gold now and I love it: I guess its one or the other. I love the fact that the s-curl is a spray-on-lotion but its too heavy for my hair, weighs it down: its like grease to me. I gave it 1 thumbs down instead of 2 because it didn't make my hair dry: cuz it never dried on my head.

Just started using it when I had my BC. I don't use it now that I'm in braids.

It made my 4A/B hair oh-so-soft and easy to comb. It is the only moisturizer that my hair likes. Creams make my hair feel soft initially but then it feels dry and hard later. Oils just seem to sit on my hair and make it sticky and hard. Butters make my hair feel soft, then like I just applied cheese to it. SCurl feels light and moist and my hair stays moist. No juice dripping or sticky. It has to be SCurl spray though; the gel is too sticky for my liking. My hair spirals/curls also appear more defined with it on compared to the way they look with nothing on. (Don't know if you can tell the difference from those pics. Here's another pic of my hair w/o products from a few years back).

I can't sing enough praises of SCurl.

For a daily moisturizer i prefer ors olive oil in a jar. Most ladies don't use it because they say it is too heavy. But i'm usely in protective styles so that just fine for me. No reason for the change really, i just think s-curl helps me lay my hair down when i really need to.

I use S-curl as a daily moisturizer for my bun,I mix it with my fav. cheapie conditioners and some Hollywood Beauty Carrot Oil(the bottle not the jar from ORS)
I think LocksofLuv uses it for her bun as well.
HHG:)

This is true for me too! I get much curl definition from it. BTW, your hair looks great Nonie!:p

:D :D :D Meaganita, that coming from you has me cheesing like a Cheshire cat. I'ma hit the sack now with a big grin on my face. Thank you.

Maybe my results would be different if my hair wasn't in braids right now...

I sprayed it on my braids for moisturizing, but boy do I feel it gunking up my braids. I also have glycerin balls on my scalp from it. I wish I hadn't used it... and now my scalp feels very irritated since using it. I don't think I'll use it again, at least not while I'm braided.:(

I use it daily. I fill my spray bottle with 2 oz of distilled water and 2 1/2-3 oz of Scurl. I add a few drops of my favorite oil and there you have it.:)

I absolutely love Scurl and will use it for a long time to come. I've been wearing my hair in a protective style and spritz with Scurl to keep my nape, edges and hair moist.

I use S Curl to moisturize my hair. More specifically, I use it when my hair is braided or in a ponytail. Using S Curl eliminates alot of manipulation for me. For example, I cornrow my hair and wear a wig on top. I don't undo my cornrows until next wash day. Also, I leave my ponytail until next wash day as well without taking them down. I just attach different phony ponies. The S Curl easily penetrates through my hair. It can be thick, so as I use more and more, I refill it with water to dilute it a bit.

What type of S-Curl are you using. I have the S-Curl Texturizer and I don't like the way it makes my hair feel. It is the styling spray

S-Curl works wonders on my nape, which gets really dry. I spray it on and seal with oil or grease.

Yes I remember how pretty my nape would be when I used S-Curl. I also used to use it as a moisturizer before bunning as well as when I did the baggy trick Adrienne0914's way.

Scurl No Drip in the white bottle with blue lettering

I love S-Curl....it is a wonderful moisturizer. I have tried Care-Free curl and it's good too, but i prefer S-curl especially for my buns and when I wear my quick weave!:)

I also use it as a moisturizer. I can only do 3-4 sprays though before my hair looks weighed down and lifeless...
