As a daily moisturizer i opt for another product, but i use s-curl when i want to lay my edges down or when my new growth is unbearable. I used to use it as a detangler after i deep conditioned my hair, but now i use something different. HTH

This is true for me too! I get much curl definition from it. BTW, your hair looks great Nonie!Nonie said:Just started using it when I had my BC. I don't use it now that I'm in braids.
It made my 4A/B hair oh-so-soft and easy to comb. It is the only moisturizer that my hair likes. Creams make my hair feel soft initially but then it feels dry and hard later. Oils just seem to sit on my hair and make it sticky and hard. Butters make my hair feel soft, then like I just applied cheese to it. SCurl feels light and moist and my hair stays moist. No juice dripping or sticky. It has to be SCurl spray though; the gel is too sticky for my liking. My hair spirals/curls also appear more defined with it on compared to the way they look with nothing on. (Don't know if you can tell the difference from those pics. Here's another pic of my hair w/o products from a few years back).
I can't sing enough praises of SCurl.
