WOW! I know that I am kind of late on the finding of this product, but I was recommended to try it and I bought some yesterday. To make a long story short, I used it in my baggie method, and when I woke up this morning my hair was STILL MOISTURIZED!! Now I feel I have some of the driest ends and hair in the world, but my hair was still moisturized even after I came home from school (1:00 am). Also, there was NO BREAKAGE when I touched my ends!! Unfortunately my ends had sucked up some of the product from last night so I put a some more on my ends, but other than that the product is great. I would recommend anyone who has dry ends or who wants to grow their hair longer.

It's wonderful that S-Curl is giving you great results! It does the same thing for me. It's defintely a keeper!

Yes I too purchased some of this wonderful product and said the exact same things you said, because my ends are drier than a California desert!!!

I have a few questions. Do you use this on relaxed hair? Does this make your hair revert? Can you use this to moisturize dry hair? I was wondering because I do not wear protective styles so I would not want my ends/hair to revert.

Nikki1971 I used this on my relaxed hair. So far I can say that it does not make your hair revert. I use this product to moisturize my dry hair.

I have a question too. I use a mixture of olive oil and surge on my scalp. Can I use a mixture of surge and S-curl to moisturize my new growth??? My hair is growing in like RRRAAAHHH!!!!! :)

I love this stuff too

My girl Sweet_Ambrosia told me about this stuff and it has helped me many a days of dryness. ;)

Thank you. I will pick up some this week. I have heard so many ladies talking about S-curl!!

umhm!...did somebody say scurl? I love this stuff. I don't use it until the last month or so of my stretch, but it works wonders for my detangling. I do have to increase my wash time from 1x a week to 2x, but that is the only thing. Thumbs up!

I use S-Curl on my relaxed hair when it's wet and dry and it doesn't make it revert. I wear my hair in a bun, ponytail or just hanging down.

My hair is relaxed and i

My hair is relaxed, too! Sometimes, I spray Surge on my hair and, at times, it can make it kinda hard. The S-Curl softens it right up for me. I'm not sure how it will work for you. Give it a try and see how it works!

S-curl is the bomb! I been using it since I joined LHCF and will use it forever it really does keep my hair SOFT and moisturised.

I just bought another bottle of this stuff.... .since I have joined the boards this is one product that is always in my house. I've gone through sooo many bottles its ridiculous, I do use other moisturizers at times but this never really fails me. I am relaxed btw

. There are different ways to use it to, for ladies that like to wear thier hair out and wrap it up at night, you can spray some in your palms and rub it over your hair for moisture. Also, I think its best when you add some type of oil to it

. I have one bottle at home spiked with EVOO and I just bought another bottle.

I have some EVOO and I am going to try this. How much EVOO do you add to your bottle?

I'm currently wearing braids and have used this nearly every day on my hair. It is keeping my excessively dry hair moisturized. Also, I will rub some oil on my hair and braids too. At first, I thought my braids were slipping, but I think it's growth from S-curl and MTG

Ok, well I had a good amount, say your bottle is 1/2 full of Scurl I would add ahhh about a couple of ounces of EVOO, just enough so that the color will turn to a light green. This way, you have the perfect balance of moisture and shine and you will find that you use S-Curl a lot less often b/c its like the oil helps keep the moisture

. I hope u like the turn out

Thank you! S Curl & EVOO here I come :woot:

Newbie (please don't roll the eyes)

Y O Y did I had to be different and purchase Wave Nouveau's Moisture Mist? I LOVE it! I don't see it mentioned anywhere. Is it not as good as S-Curl?

what did I do wrong? I bought this and wanted to love it so much, but it left my hair tangled and brittle and sticky. I'm so mad b/c I thought that this would fix everything. Do you ladies dilute it water? Maybe I just use too much of it?

secretdiamond when I used it last night in my baggie method I used EVOO first, then S-curl, and finally I coated my hair with vaseline. Now I did notice that without those products my hair wasn't as moisturized, but still greatly saturated by the s-curl. I mean your hair does feel a little sticky and greasy to me after using s-curl, but that is apart of it staying moisturized. But, try using it with something else.

I bought S-Curl about 2 months ago. I personally do not like it for my transitioning hair. It doesn't allow me to wear my hair down because my curls would fall. I tried sooooo harddddd to like this product, but I don't think I will be purchasing it again.

I use it on my daughter's natural hair, just to get rid of it. It works better on her hair, but I don't like putting it on my hands. Also, her hair soaks it up like nothing. So I mix it with olive oil.

Not a fan of S-Curl

I use both s-curl and sta-sofro. I love them both equally. And I only discovered them because of LHCF. They will probably always be among my 'must haves':) .

Thanks for this explanation. I love s-curl for my wet ponytails/baggie method but was always confused about how you were supposed to use it when wearing your hair out. This makes sense to do it at night on your wrap b/c it gives it time to dry or set. Very interesting. I'll have to try this whenever I take my braids out.

I'm going to buy this and give it a try. Anything to calm this new growth!

Thanks.. I'm definitely gonna give it another try since I still have the bottle. I think I'll try it with jojoba oil and surge (on my ends only) since I also still have that sitting around.

I really didn't like S-curl either when I first tried it early this year. It made my hair feel mushy, but I think my problem was that I was that my hair was pourus and S-curl is SOOO moisturizing that my hair felt wet and soggy instead of moisturized. I now regularly use Porosity Control Conditioner and that helps loads. Also, I think that regular clarifiying helps any product perform better.

By the way... I LOOOVE s-curl too..

(just wanted to be part of the s-curl cheer team, but the truth is, i love the s-curl texturizing gel even more, and I can't live without it.)
