Is it ok to straighten your roots a lil bit a couple of days before you get a Relaxer?

That's what I was wondering, but I'm going to wait til next saturday to get my hair done.

I don't see why this would be a problem but you may want to spray some water on your newgrowth the day before your relaxer or sit in the bathroom with steam from the shower to revert the straightness to make sure there is no overlapping with your relaxed hair or underprocessing due to newgrowth looking like relaxed hair.
