So I got this free bottle of Soft Sheen Carson's new Roots of Nature Reconstructing Deep Treatment (one of the perks of interning at a magazine:grin:) and I'm afraid to use it since I haven't heard any reviews about it. I did a search and didn't really find anything on it.

Has anyone had any success with this product? Any reviews?

I've seen it at CVS but never used it.

I'd be interested to hear your results if you try it though.

Yea, I guess I will just have to bite the bullet and try this sucker out. If I choose to, I will probably do it either tomorrow or saturday night. i will definitely be sure to post a review. Hopefully, this thing does what it says and replenishes and fortifies my hair.

I've never tried it either, I just wanted to see what the ingredients look like, thanks for posting

Please don't forget to post your review. I just seen an ad for this product line in the Essence magazine with Queen Latifah on the cover. I'm more interested in the Oil Moisturizer though.

hi everyone for those of you who were waiting for my review I apolgize for the delay. I was dealing with family emergency and am now dealing with a death so I haven't had much time to come back on her.

Review:

Since my last post, I have used this product twice. It smells great and is very thick and creamy. So first I pre-pooed my hair with jojoba oil and then shampooed with elucence mostuire control. I rinsed it out and applied the deep treatment and combed it through. I followed the directions on the bottle and applied heat for 15 minutes using my heating cap. I then sat for another 15 minutes for the cool down period before rinsing out.

I was pleastly surprised when I really did notice stronger hair follicles. I experienced much less hair in the come when detangling making it a breeze. After detangling I applied some shea butter and moisture mist and put my hair in a wet bun.

Overall, this product is great and I would definitely recommend it. I plan on using it again next week to be sure that it is truly a product for me.

Sorry I'm not to thorough and detailed in this posting. I will try to come back and be more descripitive when things slow down around here.

I used this this last night and I loved it. I dc'd with heat and rinsed in the shower, it left my hair soft but strong. My hair was very easy to comb, this is definately a keeper.
