I want to rollerset my hair tonight so that only the last 4-6 inches or so of my ends are curly. I'm thinking to do this I wouldn't want to roll all the way up to the scalp? Any suggestions??

TIA!

That's a tough one. You could try braiding the hair then putting magnetic rollers on the ends. The hair will still be crinkly. You could just set with larger rollers to the scalp. This will fall straighter at the top naturally. You could do a doobie wrap but the entire head will fall straighter. Or once you finish the regular roller set brush through with a paddle brush in sections then pull back in low ponytail, saran wrap the top and sit back under the dryer for 15 min.

...or you could roll the entire length of the hair up and once you take the rollers out, flat iron the portion (from the root) that you want straight, leaving the ends curly.

Do the scarf method like Sylver2 and then put the rollers on the ends?

(I never tried it--just guessing)
