How do you all rollerset your natural hair? Do you do the same thing you do when it's relaxed? Any special products? Are the roots straight? Help a sistah out!

Aww sbaker!! I thought I was gonna get some step by step instructions when I saw you had commented. Dont get my hopes up like that!!! :)

I don't know much, but I thought maybe flexirods would be a good option. They do a great job of curling dreds.

Regarding the type of rollers to use, I think that you may probably get the best results from wire mesh rollers with the pins. They give more tension than the magnetic rollers.

Sorry girl, I was afraid that it would get pushed down and people wouldn't see it. Besides, I try to say something in a thread that doesn't have any responses even if I have nothing to add. Just as a way to acknowledge the poster so they don't think they are being ignored.

I do it the way I did it when I was relaxed. I use magnetic rollers and pull as tight as I can. Nothing unusual. The only differnt thing I do is flat iron my roots when I take the roolers out.

I used to rollerset my hair when I was natural. I did the same as I do my relaxed hair. You have to makes sure the hair is smooth and fairly tight on the rollers I used the rollers with the covers or the satin sponge rollers. Using a straitghtening cream or lotion helps too.
