Mine last about 4 days, then they start looking like /images/graemlins/antlers.gif! /images/graemlins/rofl.gif

Today, I'm on my 4th day and two people at my office said they liked my hair. I could probably go one more day and I might if I'm feeling lazy when I get home. If not, I'll con-wash and rollerset all over again.

I wanted to know how can I make mine last a week? My night maintainence is to just put on a satin cap. My daily maintenance is to put NTM serum on it and finger comb it.

Do you use a setting lotion? I use the KeraCare one and my sets last 4-5 days.

On a different note, are you relaxed now? (been away for aahile...) Please point me to THAT thread!

My rollersets never stay curly after wrapping my hair. I don't feel like putting rollers in my head to keep the curls. The curls probably lasts about 2-3 days. When the curls are gone, I go for the sleek/straight look.

Yup, I'm relaxed now. Here's the THREAD.
I have been using the pre-mixed Lottabody setting lotion which I dilute further because my hair is dyed, but I don't use a lot because I don't like crisp hair. I wash or con-wash my hair, apply Loreal Vive Smooth Intense Anti-Frizz Cream, spray the Lottabody, and then add NTM serum while I'm rollersetting.

I don't wrap mine. I hate wraps it gives me "wings", plus they seem to thin out the hair overtime. [ QUOTE ]

My rollersets last about 5 days. I hardly ever wear them that long, though, because I workout which makes them look like

....

my hair could last about ten days....i used motions leave in and a very small amount of the motions setting lotion.

My favorite setting lotions (in order) are Keracare FOAM setting lotion, Nairobi FOAM setting lotions and Motions FOAM setting lotion...my roller sets last 2 days if I don't wrap them. 2 hours if I wrap it... I get tired of ROLLING it every night though for it to look good.

Mine only lasts like two days.....how do oyu guys keeep your sets?

Mine last by not "bothering" it so much. I pin my hair up on the top of my head at night to help it not get smashed and let down in the mornings and pick it out a bit and go...

Finger combing every day and only putting a satin cap on at night. Oh, I also let them get loose on their own, so I start with not really seperated curls and seperate more as the days go by.

you can try invisible pin curls...that will keep that 'curly' look for as long as you want it. oh and i dont use regular setting lotion /images/graemlins/barf.gif i hate the way my hair feels afterwards (heavy). i sometimes (not often) use the lottabody ready to use one... white container/purple lettering.

That's the one I've been using, but I even diluted that one.

Mine last for 1 day. They day I do it. I don't know how to keep all of the bouncy curls in it so I just wrap it up and place two rollers at the crown of my head to give it some lift/volume.
I too use the lotta body ready to go setting lotion, but I dilute it because it too can also leave your hair hard. I place water, setting lotion, and oil in the same spray bottle.

What about putting you hair into pins curls at night and then fingercombing in the morning? That might help. /images/graemlins/think.gif

My rollersets last 4 days. I either pin it up like model_chick with Hype Hair wrap pins or roll my hair with the Hype Hair large satin rollers and finger comb the next day.

mine last for 5 days but then my scalp gets oily and itchy and i have to wash it. I bet it could stay longer if it wasnt for that

Mines last for 4 days. I think they could last longer if I didnt put so much oil and mositurizer on my hair.

4-5 days. But I usually start wrapping my hair around that time. My friends always ask me how do I keep my hairstyle that long.

can pinning up your hair at night cause your curls to look all messed up? especially if your hair isnt way passed your shoulders?

My rollersets last about a week if I don't go out in the rain or workout too hard /images/graemlins/perplexed.gif

I also find my sets last longer when my hair is freshly trimmed - I think the blunt ends hold the curls better.

My rollersets last a week. They used to last about 3 or 4 days but my hairdresser told me to do pin curls at night and put on a satin cap. Ever since I started doing this, my rollersets have lasted longer
