Rollerset with mousse

I believe I did try it a couple of months ago. I use Vigorol mousse for relaxed hair (pink writing). I love the mousse for wet wrapping, but it was a NO for rollersetting. It left the hair too hard/crunchy to comb out, you would need to do a lot of extra stuff to get the hair flexible and soft. Setting lotion would be a lot better. HTH

ETA--I have 4A, fine hair.

A lot of mousses leave the hair crunchy and some contain alcohol which is a nono. You might want to use a setting lotion or foam. Motions Foaming wrap lotion was always my fav when I was relaxed. I still have some.

I LOVE Neutrogena Triple Moisture Conditioning Foam. I roll up my pony tail with it and in the morning my hair comes out very smooth, soft, and moisturized!

Ditto on the motions. When I was relaxed i used this instead of lottobody. It left my hair soft unlike lottobody. Even when I diluted lottobody with water it was just wasnt touchable enough.

This is the only product I use to set my hair.
