Roller Setting Experts?

I love rollersets and I'd like to do them myself instead of going to get them done, but I have one problem I can never get the rollers in right. You know how you're suppose to get them secure, I can't do that, mine are very loose when I roll my hair therefore causing my curls not to come out the way I want them. I'm in braids right now but when I do take them out I'd like to rollerset my hair myself, so are there any suggestions on how to secure the rollers better.

Thanks that helped, I'm going to try the tecnique that Honi posted on my next rollerset.

For rollersetting Practice makes perfect (or in any case good). The more you do it, the faster and better you will become.
