My mom's stylist cant do a proper color on her head to save his life. Everytime she comes home from the salon she looks like a clown with red patches in her head. I'm telling her to just try to do another rinse on her own but I'm not sure if thats the proper way of doing it so I told her I would ask the ladies on the board. She got the color last nite and she hates it and wants to redo it herself tonight...is that even possible? She is concerned with product buildup. Any sugguestions would be appreciated!

Did her stylist use permanent color, or a rinse last night? Either way, it shouldn't really matter but I'm just curious. What color would she want to put over it?

Thanks for replying ladies.

No its just a rince and not a permanent color. But still the rinse only shows up in sections and so it looks kinda odd with red patches on the sides and the middle jet black. Her hair is short thank god or else I think it would look even worse. Any suggestions on what she can do to fix it? It came out in red patches but she really wants her hair to be a medium brown all over. She wants to do a rinse herself at home tonight....should she sit under the dryer because she told me her stylist doesnt make he do so. I know whenever I got a rinse I always had to sit under a dryer. Thanks so much!

i dont think it would be prob. The rinse bviously didnt take the first time so if she does it home definitely sit under the dryer. after she gets out from under dryer dont rinse immediately. Let it settle for a lil while. But i dont think using a rinse after her fresh one will be damaging. I tend to use two colors during one application and i dont have probs with that

She can use a rinse as long as it is a little darker than the one that she already has on her hair. The red is still going to show a little, trust me I know. I am still trying to cover my red, but mine is from permanent color. Make sure she deep conditions afterwards to help with the dryness of color.
