Ineedhair said:I was reading the hair no-no thread and it mentions somewhere on there that a rinse out is considered a no on this board. Is this true or am I taking it the wrong way. I bought a rinse out yesterday and I don't want to use it, if it going to cause damage to my hair.
I'm sorry you got the wrong interpretation. Using the rinse-out isn't going to damage your hair. There was an earlier thread where someone was asking if she should use a rinse-out conditioner before a deep conditioner. A couple people said no, I said it wouldn't hurt as long as you didn't use cold water to rinse out the conditioner, which would be the only thing to close the cuticle and make it hard for the deep conditioner to penetrate:Ineedhair said:Sorry, a rinse out conditioner.
