Revlon - vs - Dudley\'s - relaxer

I have used Revlon forever, and have heard great things about Dudleys - has anyone made this switch??

Re: Revlon - vs - Dudley\'s - relaxer

My hairdresser uses a Dudleys mild on me, I like it. But if I ever decided to do my own hair...I would use Revlon. You can't buy Dudleys without a license.

My stylist told me that Dudley's was a strong relaxer - I got the impression is was too harsh for fine haired ladies like me and was more of a thick/coarse haired person.

She didn't say this but she did say it was strong.

I guess it all depends on how fine your is. I'm a medimum/fine strand. My hair is straight when she finishes it takes about three weeks for it to get back to normal for my taste. I either shampoo & braid or rollerset. Otherwise my hair would be to straight,I prefer some texture. So, I guess it is strong.
