Hello ladies,

I don’t know if it’s been done yet or not but. Here is a review about Garnier Olia Oil Powered Permanent Color. It has no ammonia. I choose the darkest color Black 1.0
· Forgive me as I have not taken any picture.

Here are my vitals:
Using BKT for 3 years. ( 2 years on natural hair and 1 year on relaxed hair) .
Hair length: APL front and sides, the back BSL.
Last touch up: 1 month ago.

My hair is APL and BSL in the back. Its relaxed and I BKT my hair as well. I choose this Coloring product because there is no Amonia and if I want to continue BKT’ing my hair…that is what I need to use.

So this is what the package included:
Includes : Developer, the empty bottle applicator, Color cream , The silk and shine conditioner , and gloves.

CAUTION: In the instructions it states that you can only use this product 14 days after relaxing your hair. Instructions also state that I must keep the gloves on throughout the process. Including when using the conditioner
I followed the steps and put the developer and the color cream in the application bottle and shake. The texture is creamy. It didn’t smell strong. The color of the mixture surprised me …it was a like a chai .

The product is to be applied on dry hair. You must saturate the hair completely and then let it sit for 30 minutes. Well, I was skeptical because it was so light color but as I applied it, it got darker…a greenish light beige color and then light black to full on black. As I waited my 30 mins, the product got blacker and blacker to a full jet black color. I rinsed and used the conditioner. It was easy to rinse.

What I like about the system so far is that It didn’t make a mess like traditional coloring system. I have a white tub and I rinsed my hair no problem I had some on my face ears and hands ( I’m new to coloring) and I removed it easily with alcohol. The conditioner felt as if my hair was silky. It was hard to tell with my gloves on. I then decided not to gamble and did a DC with wen and some castor oil.

My hair was not tangled and the color pay off was on point. I got jet black hair. I will be buying it again. Nothing to scream home about. But Im happy.

Thank you so much for this review I looked at this over the weekend and was on the fence about purchasing. I never colored my hair myself but I want to I'm trying to be total DIY this year.

I think I also want to try a perm color. I had a rinse or something done this summer and the color was coming off on my pillowcases and towels; not hot.

I liked it, I used another colour, intense red, pictures didn't come out too good, but I will be doing it again, probably in the summer.

Sounds good but it says Permanent hair color.....I never use permanent on relaxed hair....are you relaxed? I am transitioning.
