Hi ladies. I think this might be my first official product review. Somebody posted about this earlier but I'm not sure if anybody reviewed it or not. So let me begin....

I'm known around here as yuhlovevybz, also patches the kitchen, queen of uneven dye jobs. The color of the day is medium golden brown. I got light in the summer and dark in the winter. I didn't really go that dark this winter so hopefully this will take this time!

So here is my current hair color (see that patch?)

So some brief hair stats:

Type: 4a/b
Last dyed: >3 months ago
Previously Henna'd: Yes

And now to the good stuff:

I love the design. The ingredients (didn't post them, sorry) contain a lot of oils. Here is the color I'm aiming for, fingers crossed:

And here is what I have on standby:

Conditioner is to base my hairline and in case my hair aborts mission and I need to use an entire bottle to rinse. I always got one of these. Oh and gummy worms. :lick

What's inside:

Start on dry detangled hair.... check. Why is my hair red there? See that's that ish.....

Rawr. Cute. They included black gloves. I like the way the material feels. And I can still navigate my iphone's touch screen through the gloves.

Instructions are very clear. Especially for people like me who don't like the read.

First steps: done and done.

Shook it all up.

Parted hair (patches the kitten is at it again) time to start dyin!

*** YOU HENNA.

IMG_5454.JPG

F you again henna. Dye a slow fiery death. Ahem. Here is my hair all covered. You can see gold forming on my virgin roots. My roots always take, I'm more concerned about the rest of my hair. And I hope it doesn't come out red either :look: (It's sitting in my hair as I type out this post.

Here is what the cream looks like.

So while doing this process I noticed it is missing something. I didn't figure out what it was until I left the bathroom. I've boxed dyed my hair at least 10 times before. Ok maybe 6 or 7. But I HARDLY smelled ANYTHING that ENTIRE time. I am not kidding. This dye does not smell. If you are very sensitive to dye smells, this is the way to go. As it's sitting on my head I cannot smell it.

I'm going to rinse it off now. Back in a lil bit with results.

Can't wait to see the end results. I think this is the first detailed review of hair coloring I've seen on LHCF!

I just added more patches to my patches

I like the dye and the color it gave off, but I wish it had taken to all my hair. It says I can dye over previously dyed hair that's at least 3 months ago but perhaps not. Anyways, here is an idea of the color it would given on virgin hair.

I'll also note that this hair color is not drying and I haven't even conditioned my hair yet.It feels like I just did a protien treatment. So it's just 30 minutes and 9 dolla wasted but I'm going to the salon tomorrow.
