Hi Ladies,

Some of you have asked me for frontal pics so I thought I would post them here. I took these yesterday during a company outing...after a day of 100+ degree weather in NY, so excuse the not so fresh face:lachen: .

I am 15 weeks post and it still blends!!!

My coworker took these pics at the party.

Enjoy

It looks GREAT! What kind of hair did you use? It looks soo natural.

Ooops sorry I should have posted that in my first post. I bought the hair from www.extensions-plus.com it's the relaxed texture. The hair is an absolute dream I wish I had listened and bought quality hair when I did my first weave.

So I decided to post upclose and personal pics that way those who might be looking for some quality hair could see. And those that think weaves look to fake for them to try (this was me before), can see that they can look very very very natural if done correctly with the right hair.

Thanks for the compliment!

WOW:eek:

You could have posted those and fronted like it was your own girl!!!!

I am adding the extention site to my favorites, in case I wanna try another weave.

Do you have to flat iron your hair to blend it with the weave?

Do you have to use any heat in your hair to blend it with the weave?

Hey Trimbride!!!!

Thank you for the compliment.

I do flat iron my hair (roots mainly) to blend but only after it's washed and that's it. The only reason I do this is because I'm 15 weeks post. If not I would just set it on rollers and wrap and never put the flatiron in my hair. I'm going to attemp to do this when I wash tomorrow....but I think I'll have to flat iron my roots a little still (there's a forest growing up in there).

I think I wouldn't have to use heat if I was so many weeks post. I do flatiron the EP hair a little too...after I washed and sewed it in. I only need to use heat 1x per week, if I maintain it properly during the week. Other than that I use my carusos for touch ups if needed...haven't touched those in days.

I was put onto Extensions Plus by my old stylist.

That hair is the bomb! :)

I tried it once and NO ONE believed I had a weave even after I told them I had one. And I had minimal tangling/matting with the hair.

Dang, now you got me thinking about putting one in!

wow, i love it! it blends to the tee!! and ur so pretty. beautiful complexion!

i checked out the site, and the relaxed hair is 166.00 per 2 oz? is that correct or am i reading something wrong...?

Aww thanks ladies.

FYI on the teeth: I wore braces for 4 years in highschool. I had about 3 different surgeries (might have been four). I wore a hydrolic bar in my mouth for about 7 months to get everything aligned (while I had my braces in). I had a chain hooked up to a adult tooth that was somewhere up near my nose that wouldn't come down, the chain pulled that sucka down in a few months.

It was all very painful...and I really went through an ugly duckling stage.

I then had my teeth whitened (that was 6 years ago), that took about 2.5 weeks (I got the trays and whitener from my dentist and did it myself at home). He stopped me after 2.5 weeks because he said I would over-whiten them.

O another thing...I wore my retainer for over a year after finishing with the braces. I think this was the key for me. I know people who didn't wear theirs and they needed to have work done again within 7 years. My teeth haven't moved a millimeter!

Anyway all that goes to say...I don't regret a second of the pain, tears, and inconvenience. I love love love my teeth.

It definitely looks 100% real. No doubt about it. You could have fooled me and I thought I could detect a weave, even a good weave, a mile away. Shooot... I guess I'm not as good as I thought

If you want longer than 16" then you have to get custom hair. I heard that they are going to start offering longer than 16" in ready made hair soon. I'm wearing 14" so I pain $105 per 2oz. Ladies keep in mind I used around 3 oz, but I bought 6 oz. I didn't know I would need so little, but either way I would rather have more than less.
