I guess I am the only one who hates CO washes... I stopped when I saw how much hair I was losing, and how much time it was taking up... I just see it as another opportunity to shed "wash day" hairs, and it's just extra manipulation my tangle prone hair doesn't need... I wash once a week and deep condition overnight. In between I use liquid leave-ins and moisturizers. My hair has been thanking me for it by getting thicker and healthier... and it's growing like a WEED!

I'm glad you brought this NoNapNique. Yep, :yep: you have to do what is good for YOU! Some techniques or products just won't work for everyone. And honestly, I try to listen to my hair. If my hair doesn't seem like it needs a CO-wash, then I may wash only once a week instead of twice. Sometimes I just don't have the time to do weekly washes 2x a week. :nono:

But I try to wash at least 2x a week, and so far it's been doing okay for me.

When I'm about 10 weeks post, I usually ease up on the manipulation, and thus the frequent washing. I may even do just 2 co-washes a week instead of a shampoo wash once a week.

You just have to listen to what your hair is telling you, and keep in mind that not everything works for everybody. ;)

PS-Let us know how your first CO-wash goes Khandi! :D

I washed with shampoo 2nite because I hadnt washed in about a week, so friday I will Co-Wash then Tues I will poo, etc.. I have to Poo my hair Its psychological  ..Think Im gonna use my fave Suave Awaphui for CoWashes I love the smell and how soft it makes my hair feel :)

My hair was extremely soft today when I wet it and I wonder if it was because of the relaxer I put in this past week :scratchch

I was hoping to post the same results as the ladies who've posted previously, but I tried a cowash for the first time yesterday and had dissappointing results:perplexed My hair was shedding a lot in the shower, but I'm not sure if it's because of the cowash or the fact that my hair has been shedding some this winter. I used a V05 conditioner for the first time also, so maybe this had something to do with it. I'll try this maybe once or twice more with another conditioner before I let it go:cry3:
