Hey ladies I'm trying to find the best flat iron and by best I mean the one that gets ur hair silky and ooo so lovely....I AM NATURAL btw

I also want to be safe nothing that's damaging, good plates, temp controls, and lasting results.
AND WHERE'S BEST PLACE TO BUY?!? (WEBSITE, STORE, ECT...)

I know a lot of it has to do with techinque but i know having a good flat iron helps

So ladies rep ur flat iron and tell us why its the best. Pics are always fun n a poll is included. THANKS

ETA -my hair is thin and n the past after I flat iron it looks bad so I need something that leaves a little body

I am IN LOVE with my Sedu, as ms.blue said it doesnt take much to get your hair silky and even on a low temperature i get great results. my hair doesnt get stuck in the plates either. It's way better then the conair, of course!, I had for so many years..

I picked the FHI because thats what my weavologist uses to straighten out her natural hair to blend with her weaves (shes a 4a) and she also straightened out my 11 week post hair with it for my weave. She has the runway though. I ordered the platform a few days ago. Love FHI :)

I'm happy with my Solia 1". The plates are smooth and it's easy to handle. Has temp dial as well.

Mine is not on the list, but I'm going to rep it anyway! I have a 1inch Biosilk flat iron (It's made by Farouk, which is the same maker of CHI and FHI).

I chose it because it was in my price point, had a heat setting (very important to me because I flat iron on a very low setting - between 230 and 280 degrees), and it is made by a quality manufacturer.

It works for me, but I'm not sure how well it would work on natural hair. If I were to invest in another flat iron, it would be the Sedu because I like the wide, flat plates. They remind me of Marcel irons.

yall are making it hard to pick between the Sedu and FHI...:ohwell: lol

I just want something good I'm willing to make the investmant (i think lol :look:)

FHI-- I have a runway. My bff has a platform. They work almost identical. I gave my chi away. No competition.
