Finally something I am interested in getting behind. I am just not moved by bandwagons anymore unless it's something I feel is life changing. I will wait though until the Holidays because maybe they'll have some kind of sale
u bought it? share the coupon code, girl! The videos in this thread made me spend money
They have a BF Bundle (link)
SO did anyone else bite the bullet? I waited until the sale again this black Friday , a year after this thread. I bit the bullet especially because I have a chronic illness and chronic pain. I need something fast and I don't have a lot of people doing my hair. I have not used it yet. It's been sitting there for a week now but I'm about to break it out this weekend.
Thanks for the info. I'll get those ear plugs ready.A few of us have purchased it and use it. This is the thread https://longhaircareforum.com/threads/new-product-alert-hair-dryer.838783/
Some people have purchased the Dyson instead. There is also a blow dryer thread around here somewhere.
It is loud, so have some ear plugs or ear buds near by just in case it is too loud for you.
I will be using mine this weekend as well since I plan to straighten my hair.
How long does a regular blow dry take you? Thanks for the info. I'll get those ear plugs ready.
Here's hoping it saves time.
I love mine and use it at every wash but it is heavy and you have to hold your arm in an upright position while drying each section. I hope it works for you.SO did anyone else bite the bullet? That part worries me. The box is huge. I am worried about my pain levels but again, I would have more pain having to work on my hair for hours. I'm hoping I can wash and dry/stretch my hair thus making it easier to style in the long run. Usually wash days would be hours. I realize my hair is growing back after the prednisone increases (leading to patchy hair loss) and flair (possibly also leading to hair loss) but I'm thinking I'm closing in on my previous length (I haven't measured in a while). We shall see. I may resort to just using it to dry and tretch my hair and just have someone braid it up anyways. I think that blow drying leads to less tangles and knots for me personally as a natural.I love mine and use it at every wash but it is heavy and you have to hold your arm in an upright position while drying each section. Sit next to a table so you can prop your arm up. I have a stool in my bathroom and I use the sink to prop my arm up. It helps. That part worries me. The box is huge. I'll have to weigh the benefits versus negs: It's heavy and that will definitely lead to more pain but I would also be in pain for hours trying to dry it and style it otherwise. So if it makes pain more intense but for less time, it might be worth it.
Thanks for letting me know about your experience and the heaviness...
Sounds good! How long did it take total to dry your hair? My goal is to do it today but I may have to wait a couple days as I'm feeling under the weather (more so than usual). Just curious to how long it takes to dry HL hair with this dryer.I took the plunge this BF and used it for the first time this weekend...I am in love! I also have the Revlon brush but don't see myself using that again ever...too many broken hairs on the floor and it tore up my ends. It is heavy and loud, I had to take several breaks because my arms would get tired. I don't know if it saves me any time but as someone said up-thread it saves my hair so for that alone it's worth it! My hair is thick and HL so I tried to pre-dry a little so it wouldn't take as long. I can see me using this at least once a month now for sure, whereas with the Revlon brush I only used it maybe 4-5 times a year.
