Remington Curling Iron With Tourmaline

My mother told me about this one but, wanted to get opinions here. I sure didn't seem to find too much about it online though (I can't even remember the last time I bought a curling iron ) I wouldn't mind having one available for the 1-2 times a year I actually do something to my hair, I just need to make sure that if I get one that it dosen't undo all the good stuff I've been doing to it.

I at first seriously doubted I would bother getting it but, she said its digital. (which admitedly makes the geek in me interested )

Sounds interesting! I just noticed a CHI Ceramic Curling iron a few days ago at the BSS, I was so tempted to get it.

Remington Curling Iron With Tourmaline to straighten

So can you straighten your hair with these curling irons? Do you place your hair inside then pull the hair through like flat irons?

I have no idea. I don't know if that would do some damage or not honestly! Bed bath and beyond has these, so I'll be going to check it out today (heck they have the Chi's there too!) I got a couple of them 20% off coupons (these folks will take anything back if you don't like it)
