If I mix a relaxer, how long can I leave it out before it can be used?
Basically, I mixed up my Mizani sensitive scalp relaxer about 30min ago, but just found out that I have to do a quick outside errand. How long can a relaxer sit before it becomes ineffective? At least for hair color, they don't recommend it being used if it was mixed 2 hours prior to use. Does the same timeframe apply to relaxers? How should I store it--I'll only be gone for 1hr; I figure that I should be back home by 11:15am.....
