Hi, ladies I need some feed back, I normally use kiddie relaxers, my last two applications I switched to Mizani, I believe it is too strong, right now my hair is somewhat thinning and limp so for my next application I am going to try the Affirm (mild, Lye) but what I want to know is, how do I get my hair back to it's regular state. you know body bounce, thickness...

Hi Nikki, I am no expert but I use nexxus headress -- it helps limp hair come to life. Also castor oil helps thicken thin areas, you could mix it with vitamin E. A trim may also help.

If you used mizani, which is a very strong relaxer, you hair may have been relaxed bone straight. Whenever hair is bone straight it tends to turn out fine and limp. When I relax the affirm mild is my relaxer of choice. Do a strand test before applying it to your entire head so you won't over process.

I have heard that Mizani is too strong for some people. As far as getting your hair back to how it was, hopefully you weren't using the Mizani for too long. If that is the case, then only an inch or a few of your hair are affected by the Mizani. Some good protein conditioning treatments will put back into your hair what relaxers take out.
