ok ladies.
i have been transitioning for 10 months. the first 6 months flew by because back then i was getting press and curls so my new growth was never out of control and i had gone out of town for my b-day. my new growth is not out of control but i am no longer wanting to transition. im just going through things right now and i know i wont want to co wash everyday like i have been doing.
i will still deep condition every week maybe even twice a week but im just not in the mood for constantly taking care of the line of demarcation:perplexed. with that said i am a little past apl and trying to make bsl. i havent had a trin or dust in almost three months(which is good for me) and i think my hair is healthy. i know what i will do to keep my hair in tip top condition after the relaxer but what about during the relaxer?

i wont be doing it myself, it will be the stylist who has been doing my hair for the last 7 years. it trust her but when i was going to her i wasnt into hair care. so should i put something on my scalp? should i put some thing on my hair? should i do a hard core protein treatment befor hand or wait like a week after?

i would find the self relaxer sticky. It has tons of great advice for what to do before during and after a relaxer treatment
