Human being
or it's own fan club in real life? I feel like mine does. When I first started making progress as a relaxed head, they oohhhed and aahheed and told me who they love my hair because it has movement and health. When I BCed the same folks went nuts over my hair texture and told all who would listen. Now that it's colored those people are telling me which styles they prefer and why. How I should keep it, etc... :lachen:

Anyone else experienced this?

Yes i mentioned this in random thoughts the people at work notice EVERYTHING about my hair EVERYTHING

Down to a change in products styling etc etc:drunk::lol:

Yep...my in-laws. They cannot resist diggin their fingers in my hair, and saying how thick it is. My hair has always gotten attention for being thick. Salons used to charge me extra!

this is sooo true, especially with the products that smell like baked goods ... mostly the men notice the change in smells, while the women will more comment on styles.

and both try to touch my hair, but I hate whenppl touch my hair so I try to anticipate and dodge :lachen:

Cute thread..

My cousins are extra curious about how my hair changes. There's a few other people who are very interested in my progress since I relaxed - basically want to see if it will thrive over time, I get that.. cause I want to know too lol.

My students! Ugh, it's like everyday: Don't twist it! You should wear it like that! Ooh, you're going through today! Your hair's growing, cuz!

I just wanna yell sometimes for them to get away from me. And don't touch me!

I recieved compliments whenever I have my hair out. Family and friends telling me my hair is getting long, saying it compliments me, wanting me to wear my hair out more and not the wigs. I like it. :)

Girl....

Everyone in my school is all up in my hair. They beg for me to straighten it, wear it in a 'fro, wear it curly, etc.

There have been a few times when I've unfortunately been stuck in a crowd of super-sized middle schoolers, and one of those little urchins will put his/her hand in my hair. It's super annoying because I can never be sure who the culprit was.

The other teachers tell me that the kids talk about my hair in class too. I have to say, it's not exactly flattering when it's this intense day in, day out. :ohwell:

I didn't realize how much people noticed on a day-to-day basis. When they ask why I don't wear it loose often I say that we enjoy it loose together, but when it's time to detangle it I'm all by my self. People often comment on how thick my braids are.

Lol... Gotta love their enthusiasm!

A few days ago my brother was talking to his friend a girl who lives in a different state. next thing I know he's asking me for my online album address. apparently he was telling her all about my hair how I cut it off and how looks all good and stuff. I was stunned. I guess she went to my fotki on because she told my brother oh my gosh I love her hair especially the color! I told her to email me if she has any questions

I'm the only black person at my job so anything I do causes a stir...for the past month I've started covering my hair 'cause the summer sun is rearing it's hellacious head over here in the desert and even among women who cover not only thier hair but their faces this has caused a stir lol. Can't win
