Hi ladies...I am thinking about giving my hair a heat break i use heat (once a week) until august.....

What is the best idea...a braid out?

who airdry's? pics would be nice:grin:

I have jojoba oil which i love:lick: and coconut oil too.

i do the same. i just started airdrying with my hair out. <yikes>

but I use either ecostyler gel, or qhemet's gel to hold the scrunching pattern. turned out pretty good

You can air dry with flexi rods/curlformers, i've been doing that for the past couple of months when i want to give heat a break.

I do braid outs, twist outs, bantu knots or I'll just wet bun. But anytime I airdry I always use a very creamy leave in b/c my hair get extremely dry airdrying...

I airdry. But I do it right before bed. Then I crosswrap to go to sleep. I get smooth results from doing that. If not that then I do Slyver2's scarf method and sleep with a few sponge rollers in the back.

at night I airdry but put my hair in 4-6 braids with ALOT of moisterizer and eith EVCO or Vatieka coconut oil with amla. then i put on my cap and unravel my hair in the morning, add a little more moisterizer and seal and my hair is good to go. :) It turnes out so pretty I like it better than straightened hair.

bantu knots, braid outs, or flexirods. Sometimes I just let my hair airdry hanging down then when its 90% dry I will clip it up and wear it just like that.

I usually just dry in a bun...its quick easy and looks decent

I sometimes (rarely) put gel in my hair and scrunch while drying to do a wash and go.

I always airdry. Since I'm transitioning (6 months post) I started doing braidouts to blend in my relaxed ends. Check my siggy :yep:
