so, i was trying to cut down on manipulation as well as keeping my twists stretched and having less tangling, etc...so i decided that i was gonna cut my big washes down to every other week and cut out my condition washes completely

HAHAHAHA...yeah right.

must have forgotten that i work with toddler & preschool aged sand throwing, snot wiping>>> hair touching children (whom i love dearly) LOL.

so, i think im gonna get back to condition washing a few times a week like i was in the first place.

cant say i didnt try...lol. wishful thinking.

i dont even know what i was thinking with that idea.

i feel you

One time i swore wet bunning was going to be my future. Than I saw my SSKs/ how the center of my hair never dried and quickly made that my past

When I first joined LHCF, all I saw was how stretching was the greatest thing you could do for your relaxed hair. So I decided that I was going to go from never stretching at all to jumping right into a long-term stretch. Can we say breakage central?

I joined the wig challenge on January 1, 2013 and bought 2 wigs. Once I wore the Beshe Shelly for a week straight I nixed those plans cuz I missed my hair so much! It was also hell on my edges.

I started using MegaTek for growth back in 2008. I did get good growth (close to 1 inch for the 2 months I used it) but I had really bad migraines. Just wasn't worth it to me so I stopped.

Wearing my hair out everyday

Skipping weekly deep conditioning because of Wen Fig

Sent from my android tablet using LHCF App

Years ago, using indian hair products such as alma powder. I made a mix of all these powders and oils then I read the package the other day and theyre al for cleansing not conditioning. They used to smell bad too and the smell wouldnt go away!

pelohello, Yeah, I tried stretching too. It was a sad, terrible mess. My mother does my tu's and she couldn't handle all that new growth. I'm actually due for a corrective now, smh. I barely went eight funky little weeks. :wallbash:

Yeah, I had decided to stretch for 6mths; which was a horrible ideal. My hair did grow, but I also had LOTS of breakage & LOTS of shedding. Because I had sooo much NG, I decided to do the half & half method when I relaxed. For now on, I will relax every 3mths:yep:

Bone straight relaxing. It looked nice right after the relaxer but my hair was too thin as the bone straight hair grew out.

Indian products. Amla & jasmine oil stink & henna was messy & I didn't like the reddish coloring in my hair.

I read so much about the benefits of using garlic. So I put freshly grated garlic in my DC. I smelled like a darn pizza. Never again!:nono:
