Has anyone tried this line of products?

http://www.redken.com/products/displayBrand.cfm?b=263

I'm wondering if it will keep my fine strands of hair from breaking as easily, especially the Ant-Snap leave in treatment. My hair isn't in bad shape, but I have some breakage I want to slow down and/or eliminate. Are they intended for extremely damaged hair? Will this be too strong for my hair?

Anyone who's ever used these products weigh in and let me know.

The Extreme line of products is a very good one to use to control breakage. I highly recommend the Anti-Snap.

I have used the Anti-Snap for about a year or so and I love it. My hairdresser turned me onto it when I got highlights. Even after the highlights were gone, I continued to use it.

Just a little goes a long way. Depending on how fine your strands are you may want to consider diluting it....just a thought. I think this product is worth the cost.

Love the redken anti-snap but like someone said make sure you keep an eye on your hair so you know when to balance it out with moisture...

:yep: I agree here. This is the line of products that I used exclusively to revive my damaged broken hair. Now since being on this board I have become a Dominician PJ, my extreme line is sitting in the closet catching dust. I think I will use it on my sister's hair since she's been having some breakage.

From all of your comments, this sounds like a good line of products. It may be just what my hair needs right now. :yep:

Any other reviews?

There are pretty good reviews on the redken website. I would go with the reviews. Last month when I wanted to try some redken products I found a lot of the formulations changed and the redken website shows the lines customers believe changed for the worst within the reviews.

Yea they added isopropyl alcohol. I have one bottle of the regular condish from the old line that's why I wanted to no if any ladies had tried the new one before I took the plunge. I probably will still try it because it still has the ceramides that I'm looking for. Thanks

Redken extreme is fantastic. It's the only line of Redken products I recommend. It's out of my price range these days, but if not I'd have a case of Anti-snap at my disposal.

I bought the RE Strength Builder Plus
2 RE conditioners
And the Anti snap leave in
I plan on mixing the regular conditioners with my x2 a week deep ceramide treatment and use the DC on wash days

I have the GVP version of Anti-Snap from Sally's and it's a nice leave-in when diluted and used with alongside a moisturizing leave-in.

lamaria211 how is the anti snap leave in?
I am looking for a protein based leave in condish and this is one of them I'm eyeing. What has it (did it)done for your hair?

I don't use it anymore but not cause its not good I'm just a PJ and have about 30 other leave ins to get thru. But even though it's protein its very softening to the hair and it has ceramides which is a plus. And it smells great.
