Well, besides the great ingredients...it's very lightweight and it's water based. It's very "spreadable" and isn't heavy. It seems to really penetrate the strands as opposed to sitting on top of the hair. It smells really good and it's my favorite color to boot!

Is it everyone's experience of Protectiv Breakfree causing hair to revert because it's wet, as Adrian3bc mentioned?

It didn't make my hair revert. For me it absorbs nicely.
