I want to mix them

Silenttulip, I don't think it's a dumb question, and the lady that works at the VitaminWorld I shop at does this. I asked her about adding MSM to conditioner and she told me she adds a couple of spoons to her shampoo and her hair is so thick and shiny!

I added it to my leave-in spritz before and it made my hair feel really soft, but I haven't done this recently. I hope this helps. HHG.

I've Added A Few Scoops To My Infusium 23 In A Mist Bottle. I Use Jarrow Formulas MSM Sulfur Powder. I Like How It Softens My Hair. I've Only Used This For A Few Weeks Though.

Ah, thank you! I assume then it helps to cleanse the scalp or promote growth?

I wouldn't say it cleanses the scalp in the way shampoo does. It does assist in ridding the scalp of yeast buildup which can clog the pores, which slows down hair growth which can promote optimal growth for the individual.

It is a natural sulfur which our hair and body needs.

I am in the process of creating a scalp spray (from a few sites I've found) for my dd because she suffers from seborrhea dermatitis. I am also going to add msm to her shampoo.

I wrote in a blog post that I wanted to increase her shampooing but she is not having it, especially if I do a style for her that she really likes. Hopefully using the spray will prevent a lot of embarrassing buildup.

Myjourney2009 list your spray ingred. ds suffers from the same thing.

I will, I am going to make a blog post about it. Give me til Sunday

What I have been using so far is evco the night prior to washing. I also apply a bit more to her scalp if she needs it.

I also use blue springs shampoo mixed with kiss my face whenever (to use it up) 4 ozs total. I also add 1 tsp tea tree oil in it. I purchase my tea tree oil from Watkins health food store on 125th st. Its alot cheaper than fairway of WFs and I get a larger bottle.

Take a look at my blog post about it and let me know if you have anymore questions.

okay my good people I looked high and low for the proper amount of msm to add to my shampoo and I found on the best hair site LHCF, which then led me here.

I already had my shampoo in a color applicator bottle ( a bit more than 3oz). To that I added 1 rounded TBSP and allowed it to dissolve.

I am doing this for my dd's seborrhea dermatitis, which it is supposed to help keep at bay.

This will be week number 2 that I have not washed her hair and I am going to do it Sunday. I am going to take measurements from various parts of her head and compare it 12 weeks later to see how much growth she will get. I am not looking for a ridiculous amount of growth, just her full potential. She's had slow growth for awhile now due to the dermatitis, it seems like it grew maybe 2-3 inches this past year.

I am still working on making the scalp spray
