I tried rollersetting my hair before and it came out too curly and not very straight. I have not tried it since. Well I want to try it again, with the help of the ladies here..

Does any one have a fotki folder that shows how to do it?
What kind of rollers are best? Wire or magnet?
How to place the clips?
What products do I use to keep it soft and bouncy?

How do I maintain the curls? When I wrap it its too flat. When I sleep in a bonnet it gets flat in some areas and looks a mess . what do I do ...Please help.

Thanks

Check out the albums of Lonei and Macherieamour. They have good pictures on how they rollerset using magnetic rollers and their hair sets are beautiful.

I want to add the larger the roller, the straighter the set. I use the largest sized 3" magnetic rollers to airdry my hair so it's smooth and as straight (as my hair can be). Then I style it in a bun or French Twist or make a braidout, etc.

Rollersets are great! I've been doing them religiously since I cut my hair. I have pictures of the finished product in my album, but not how to do instructions. I used the red magnetic rollers. I'm natural 3b buy the way.

My hair is the length of your cut... what size rollers do you use with that cut.

They are red (I think the size might be 1 1/2"??....but don't quote me on that...I just go by the colors:) ). You keep it from being flat by pin curling at night if you want to keep the curl. This is what I do, and it lasts and lasts. It's the only hairstyle I can wear for a week and still look good.
