Ready to step my Deep Condition Game Up

Bulletproof

Well not all the way up to a Pibbs steamer level:lick: (maybe for the holidays), but I figured since I will be wearing wigs while keeping my hair braided for the next few months that the least I could do was DC's 2x a week. I am transitioning and I don't need parched hair coming out of my scalp:nono:.
I am interested in what people are currently using for their deep conditioners? I have read a few older threads and figured things can change so let's see what the new musts for moisture are.
Can't live without store-bought DC? Let us all know and why it is so great.
Make a moisturizing recipe? Please share, I am particularly interested in anything utilizing aloe vera juice and gel as I have 2 large bottles.
Have a hydrating spray you use? I want to know about it as well.
Any tips tricks and helpful hints will be appreciated.

No!..No we don't :laugh:, and who is that in your siggy :look:

-I Use GVP Matrix Biolage (its the most conditioning condish i've used thus far)

- and Aubrey organics Honey suckle rose

those are the only 2 i have tried worth mentioning, i will be trying a few more over the next month, so i will use the reviews in this thread for my own conditioner hunt

I just dug out Aussie moist 3 minute miracle to finish my PJ stash and I forgot how great this stuff was :infatuated: and it's cheap.
Also use AO Honeysuckle rose and White camelia
Giovanni 50:50

My two favorite deep conditioners are:
Silk elements megasilk moisturizing tx... pure heaven for your hair!

motions cpr protein reconstructor.

I DC with these for 20-30 mins w/ heat under a plastic cap.

I can not claim those luscious locks as my own, no idea who they belong to but immediately upon seeing them I was struck by their :look: unique beauty:look::grin:

I rarely dc but I use Lustrasilk Cholesterol + Shea Butter & Mango. For my moisturizing spritz, I fill a spray bottle w/ water, add 1 tsp Suave conditioner, and add a tiny bit of oil.

As far DCing goes, I haven't really experimented much, but I'm happy with what I've been using.

AO HSR or AO White Camelia. Always mix with honey and TJ Nourish Spa to get the most bang for my buck, sometimes I add castor oil.

Moisture - Water/glycerin spritz, or shea butter/coco oil/castor oil butter or EV Coco Oil

ROTFL!!!!!!!!!!!!:lachen: THAT IS PURE COMEDY!!!!

HAD TO GET THAT OUT! Back to our regularly scheduled program.:spinning:

I am a dc JUNKIE! All of my deep conditioners I used I consider them moisturizing because thats what they do. My hair is very very protein sensitive by all means. So many may have a little Protein in them but not much. Plus I mix all of them with oils (castor, emu or evoo) and a little honey. Upon buying one I use it on its own just to see if it is even worth the purchase then I become a chemist and mix it up!

Moisture dc in order of Fav to Just likey

-Olive Oil Replenishing pak (have the bottles and the paks and I swear by this stuff.)
-Aussie 3 Min. (LOVE LOVE LOVE it! cheap and sold everywhere. when I fly out of town and don't check a bag I usually buy this where ever I am to have on hand to DC, co wash and leave-in).
- Alter Ego Garlic Conditioner (pricey but I use it once a week, will purchase for the rest of my life)
-MoroccanOil Hydrating Mask (pricey also- but I love it. don't buy it nor use it often tho).
-Paul Mitchell Super Strength (is a protein so I RARELY use it. Very worth the purchase, last long for me due to rare usage).
-Miss Jessies Rapid Recovery (swore by this stuff a while ago. Then realized it was over priced and never reached full potential until mixed with other things. After almost two years of buying it, I will not be repurchasing EVER AGAIN. there are cheaper things that work just as well).

Just purchased Mixed Chicks Deep Conditioner and Pantene R&R Breakage Defense DC. will be trying both of these and will keep you all posted.

By now you all know I'm a PJ. WILL never recover until I have a solid solid reggie for each season. :drunk: I lived in NY now Chicago and I have to switch it up based on weather.

Also great leave ins are Cantu Shea Butter, Carols Daughter Black Vanilla, (LOVE) S-curl, and the Generic Paul Mitchell THE Conditioner from Sallys.

Sorry for being sooo long winded. lol:yep:
