We've just wrapped up
Songs of Solomon last night; I'll just say studying this with a teen was interesting...
DH spent a good while discussing Chapter 1, verse 5:
I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon.
When we read Chapter 5, verse 14: His hands are as gold rings set with the beryl: his belly is as bright ivory overlaid with sapphires, my nephew said "six pack!"
I find that the Scriptures my nephew remembers most are the ones we had fun discussing. Each night, we review the previous night's study before we start the new one.
