Got my touch up earlier today and was annoyed because my regular stylist wasn't there so I let another lady in the shop do it. I really didn't want to wait for her to come back because my new growth was getting out of hand.

She ends up using Precise no-lye on me which is a brand I have never used before. I didn't have any burning and from start to finish it was in 15 min total with application and smoothing. after coming home my scalp started to feel irritated along with light headedness and dizziness.

I've never felt this way before and this is the only thing about my day that was different from normal. I wasn't hungry either so it's not like those symptoms could be attributed to that. I ended up going home to lay down and didn't wake up til around midnight. Has this happened to anyone before?

that's never happened to me before, I think you should get it checked out. Lightheadedness and dizziness is definitely not normal after getting a relaxer.

Well, I've gotten ill from the heat and the smells at the salon before. I also got light-headed at the salon once and it turned out to be low blood sugar. The stylist gave me a packet of honey to eat and I was fine after that. She said it happens all of the time.

Neither of the incidents above involved a relaxer application.

Thanks for the replies. The whole thing was weird and something I never experienced before that's why I thought it could be that new relaxer they used. I feel a little better this morning and so far my hair looks and feels fine.
