As you all know spring is coming fast! I need a change! What is the difference between cutting your hair with a razor and layers? Also, I need a hair color that is not damaging! My hair is hard to color!

well i just started cosmetology school last month and they told us not to use razors on african american hair because that is basically just damaging it.so i would say go for the layers

To my knowledge it is mostly used on human hair, and fine or straight hair.

Denali you are right it should be used on fine straight hair. I was just making sure i put in the warning just in case. It should not be used on african american hair even if it is relaxed.

I was going to say the same thing...razor cutting will just give your hair split ends and it should not be used on curly hair...I cringe when I see them do that on a make over show.

If you want something diffent for spring, I say go for BANGS
