Raw Eggs & Molasses?

Has anyone ever tried this? I was checkin'out a Jamaican hair board and someone suggested using this mixture to attain the look of relaxed hair. /images/graemlins/look.gif

I never used molasses, but my mother sweared by mayo and eggs when I was a kid. I had SO much hair, wasn't styled nicely, as mom was not trying to hear anything about a relaxer, but it was long, healthy and manageable.
