QUININE SULPHATE...

Ladies,does anyone know what this is and why is it in haircare products? I asked because I've seen it listed as an ingredient in a couple of hair products that I own. what bothers me is when I did a search on it, all I see is that it has been used for leg cramps and for maleria WTH! Does anyone know of anything else,as far as what is it suppose to do for the hair? Please help a sista out.

It is used to stimulate growth. In South America, and among some of the African American diaspora. One example of a black owned supplier of a product containing qs is Leanna's Hair CAre Products. Apparently the old grandmothers could tell us more about it as it used to be in hair tonics and grease. I have a concoction but I have been experimenting with the MTG and MN. So qs is next on the list. I will share the results when ever I get going on it. Hope this helps.bonjour

Umm okay,but when I do a search nothing about this product says it can be used for hair or scalp problems. So that was my problem. I wanted to know what I'm putting on my hair/scalp. But thanks and I'll be looking for those results.
