Love yourself first!
What are the pros and cons with quick weaves? I was thinking about trying this out for a while.

Hmmmm....I'll await hearing the cons....

I have a Sensationnel one that I've been using as it's cold in nyc...and it's been a godsend as a protective style and it's pretty comfortable...I just clip it on...I try not to use the back clip...put on my stretch headband (I don't feel like blending in hair..I want it all covered up) and I'm ready to roll.

I can still wash my hair when I want..and still stay protected until it gets warmer here.

only cons I know of are some people have trouble (possible breakage) with the combs that keep them in place. I LOVE mine. I am wearing one now.

Yeah, my girlfriend said that too...but I haven't experienced any problems as of yet...but I stay moisturized in that area where the comb meets and when I get in the house...that sucka comes off!

LOL! OK, Maybe Quick Weaves have a different meaning depending on where you live.
The quick weave I am referring to calls for glue or a sew-in.
Enlighten me please!

Oh...my bad...lol.

Well...what ur calling a glue or a sew-in...around my way...we just call that a weave. A glue in one...you generally don't leave in for a long time though..or you will have no hair. I did those a lonnnnnnnnng time ago...and I would never do again. I don't think there's anything quick about a sew-in weave.

I was referring to the instant/quick weaves that are out - where you clip on the hair with a comb and blend your own hair in.

I love it! The pros are easy for me name... no manipulation nor heat (accept for wash days) and I can wear 'my' hair down. The amount of time I save getting ready in the morning I can use to eat breakfast or leave early for work. The cons for me are minimal. I have to be sure to take extra care of my hair, apply moisturizer, and beware of the small combs attached to the hair. Sometimes it's hard to remove. Other than that, I love it. It's a keeper.

Is there an art to taking these things off. B/c I feel like I"m pulling my hair out with the quick weave.

Make sure you take the back comb off first by pulling it down. Then lift up the the back of the quick weave. Then you slide the front forward. NEVER EVER take the comb in the front off first!:nono:

I had a bad experience with the quick weave and it left me with bald spots and breakage.
I suggest if you decide to get it have the stylist place a stocking cap over your own hair and then glue the weave on it instead of your own hair this is much safer.
