Quick question regarding demi permanent and developer

I am dying a my hair dark brown with Ion demi permanent color and I picked up the wrong developer, 20 instead of 10. Can I still use this without ruining my hair...

I would get the 10. 20 will make it a permanent color, not a demi. And I don't know for sure if you can use a demi color with a 20 developer. (I'm assuming so but I'm not 100% sure).
