My sister wanted to have her hair texturized, so I did it for her. She got a little nervous, and against my wishes, we rinsed it out too soon. She did not get the texture that she was hoping for. Her hair still has little ringlets, she just wants it to be a little bit more looser. We did the texturizer on last Thursday and now she's bugging me to do a corrective. Is it too soon? And, what type of conditioner should I use afterwards: protein or moisturizing? We used Motions Oil Mild and left it on for about 4-5 minutes per section. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for the link! So, I'm assuming that a week is okay if we do a cholestoral treatment?

It should be fine if her hair is healthy. I've done that before on certain sections. :yep:

Thanks Queenie!
ETA: your hair looks very similar to hers. How long do you keep the texturizer in your hair? Do you texturize in sections and rinse or just all at once?

I leave mine in (mizani reg) for 10-20 min. With Optimum super, it was 12 min, I think. :scratchch

I do it all at once. It takes 10 min to get it all in.
