Quick Question, I need help NOW!

Hey Im getting cornrows in 2 hours! Can my hair be straight when she does it or should I have not straightened it? Can I just DC and blow it out real quick?

I don't want to break my hair off, but at the same time I would rather it be easier for her to comb my hair without tearing it out...

A DC and blow-out without straightening should be good enough, You don't want your hair bone straight when you are about to get it braided, a little kink is good.
