I joined buzzagent a while back and they sent me samples of this product. I received one full size bottle and about 8 one oz bottles. I plan to give two samples to friends:ohwell:, so they can try it out.

Anyway, I like this product. I don't know how it performs on straight hair to keep it frizz free. I have used this product about 6 times. After I co wash and add my leave in I use it on damp hair. The bottle says 5 drops for the whole head, but I use about 15:look:. 5 on each half of my head and then gathered all up.

My hair airdries much straighter when I put this on. I'm not saying like flatiron results or anything, but I can definitely tell the difference. It's not drying or greasy and it has a light smell. I like it.

@leona2025 I have used John Frieda Frizz Ease Serum since my relaxer days. I love it. I even used it on my natural hair and my hair felt wonderful. Only reason I don't use it is I can't live w/o baggying and baggying a serum on my head would make my scalp itch something awful.

Since I discovered heat protectants, I now use the Heat Protectant Serum by JF when I flat iron along with Heat Defeat Spray also from John Frieda. I've never wanted to try anything else because these products have served me well as very effective sealers and antihumectants. Using them w/o any other product on my hair when I flatiron gives me straight results w/o reversion until I'm tired of having straight hair and decide to wash it. JF rocks!

Nonie How do you use those two products before/during your flat ironing sessions? I have the serum but I used a different heat protectant the first time I tried flat ironing my hair myself. Needless to say, it didn't turn out so well. I don't think I used enough of the serum anyways.

I LOVE my John Fredia! But I don't use it anymore either because I stopped flat ironing for the summer.

Which John Freida serum are you using?

I used a John Frieda Wind Down blow out cream for a while. I am not sure why I stopped using it since it did work. In fact, I just found a bottle in my cabinet beside my John Frieda Dream Curls.

I've bumped this thread because I'm going to start using serum again. I never experienced this much tangling and dryness when I was using it years ago. My fine hair needs it.

It will basically be used a sealant after my leave-ins.

Any other naturals still using a serum?
