is a henna that says no oxidants and no amonia in big letters and only has one ingredient: cassia italica (it's neutral) okay to use on relaxed hair? my hair will fall out if i look at it wrong so i wanted to check. thanks ladeez!!!! (it's a french brand "henne color paris")

I dont know the answer to that question! Im sure some of the other resident Henna experts on the board will come and chime in. :) You were definitely smart to consult with the boards before putting it in ure hair though!

All I know is to make certain that its Body Art Quality Henna. (Learned this from Sareca! :) ) BAQH is safe for relaxed/color treated hair, and wont cause your hair to fall out. I use Jamilla Henna, that i ordered from MehandiArt.com.

HTH!

I've never used (or heard) of that brand, but there are over 400 different varieties of cassia. Most folks use cassia obovata on hair. Here's what Catherine says (take it w/ a grain of salt. she's trying to sell her cassia) :wink2:

Are you absolutely sure there's no fine print w/ other ingredients listed? When I searched for Henna Color Paris it sounded like it had a bunch of stuff in it.
