Can ya'll help me decide what style to do with my hair? It's wash day, and I know I want to wear it down... but that's about all. PLEASE HELP LADIES!!!

**My hair is shoulder length, and I want to do something different besides a rollerset. Also, if you have instructions on how to do the style or the upkeep for nighttime include that please.

Hey!!

I also am getting tired of rollersets.. I mean I absolutely love roller sets but have gotten bored with it and needed a change temporarily... so I started doing twist outs/braid outs and they have come out great!! Which these styles work great the longer I stretch my relaxer out.

This is what I do: wash/deep cond then rinse out... While hair is still wet I apply tangle defense leave-in conditioner (optimum) then a few squirts of perm repair setting lotion (spray) then I part my hair into sections. Twist or plait hair(I actually do both) then I pin ends back on head and u could either let air dry slightly or get under the dryer for a little while. Then I tie my hair down with a scarf and go to sleep. When I wake up the next morning.. I take all my hair down to reveal nice textures and crimps. I immediately moisturize all my hair(especially ends) with ORS moist. lotion and seal with some oil, and then finally I throw on a headband. I like this style and it is a good change from my usual roller sets. ;)

Thanks ladies. I saw SB's caruso arrangement... and I have some I haven't used in a long time so that's an option.

IS... I am absolutely the worst braider; I can't do twists for the life of me.

Also, I am only 1 week post relaxer so my hair is more versatile than usual. Any more ideas ladies? I know you ladies here on LHCF are style genies :) So please help me out.

well..bummer:( ! well since twist and plaits aren't your thang.. then what about wrapping your hair after your wash?? now I personally can't wrap hair...only gifts!!! When I try to wrap my hair... it looks like a stiff poofhead with straight ends!

I was gonna say twistouts but you don't twist...How about an updo? Go to the dollar store and get some cute sticks or fancy clips and do some pinup stuff

A loose, sexy updo is a nice change. You prepare it like a roller set, but loosely pin it up so that the lower curls are off of your shoulders. The top is piled high on your head like a bouffant. It is hard to explain. I wore my hair like that to work once and my boss said, "cute hair".

This is not the classic "protective style" because the ends are exposed. They are just off of the shoulder.
