can someone give me some reviews on this....I saw it at Target and was tempted to try it...(I like that it is not thick like the other products)

Is it like Kinky curly in any type of way...

Thanks ladies

I have never used Kinky Curly so I can't compare it to this.

However, I HAVE used Aveda's Be Curly which basically does the same thing (and is cheaper). Quick Curls is kinda heavy and coats your hair. I have fine hair so I was regularly washing my hair to try and get it off my hair. Also, keep in mind, mineral oil is the second ingredient (its listed using the latin name). Some people like that and others avoid it like the plague.

My suggestion is to get a trial size of this product and see how you like it before committing to the larger bottle. I liked it initially until I realized that I really didn't like the way it coated my hair.

You should watch Taren916 on youtube. Quick Curls is her go to product, and she has a ton of videos of her hair while applying and after it is dry.

i love aveda be curly and thought this would be a great replacement if for whatever reason i couldnt get my hands on aveda. well i didnt really like it. i still have a tube i may revisit. i remember it was light which was good. however i just remember my hair poofing up into a big ball and my hair never does that. also my hair dried hard.

I saw the infomercial on Quick Curls earlier this week. Then, I thought wow! I would like to try that. I've always wondered if I could wash my relaxed 4b type hair and make it curly. Then yesterday I was in Target and saw the display. The prices deterred me from trying the product and I didn't bother to read the ingredients.

I love Aveda products. I think I will try Aveda's Be Curly. I didn't know that the product was for making your hair curly. I thought a person had to have naturally curly hair.

I have type 4a/b hair and it did defind my curls. But some times it was hit or miss. When I put it on my hair in small thin sections I could see more of a definiton but I had to use a lot of product and at that price ... I would just stick with the eco styler (olive oil) gel . Eco styler defines my curls and it has beat out kinky curly and quick curls so far.
