I'd say stretching your new growth and holding a ruler against it would tell you how much growth you got during the ten weeks. I'd take the measurement over different areas of your head and then get an average. Don't forget to add the 1/4 inch just before the zero mark, if your ruler doesn't have zero at the very edge.
Now if you want to know your growth rate, you take the average you got from the above measurements and divide it by 2.5 because ten weeks can be estimated to be 2 and a half months. That gives you a general idea of how much your hair grew/grows per month.
