I have static in my hair and it will not go away.Is it a bad thing or a good thing? How can i get rid of it?

Static indicates dryness. I get this a alot because i work in a department store and touching sweaters and frequently walking on carpet makes this a hassle. I moisturize before i go to work, and i add a little while im on break. This girl that i work with also rubs an unscented fabric softener sheet on her hair as well to eliminate the static.

THANK YOU I DO NOT LIKE A LOT OF OIL IN MY HAIR BUT I WILL TRY TO BUT MORE SHEEN ON IT TO SEE IF IT CHANGES . THANK YOU AGAIN

No dont put oil on your hair, just a light weight moisturizer, or even leave in to make your hair moist, not oily
