Direct me to a link if this question has been asked before. What product is a life saver for you while transistioning with THE NEW GROWTH you experience.I think if I knew what was helpful to others I might consider the BIG T.

I can't speak for everyone else but for me (and I'm only 15 weeks post), prepooing and cowashing with ORS Olive Oil and Hair Mayonnaise has been a life saver. However, you will find that what works for me or anyone else may or may not work for you. IMO, the key is keeping the new growth moisturized and treating your hair very gently on wash day. I got lazy yesterday and decided not to wash my hair in sections. I ended up with a KNOT...thank goodness it wasn't huge and with the help of some shea butter and almond oil i got it out with minimum damage.
Also, there's transitioners support threads that you can refer to. Hope that helps

I transitioned last year and I loved tresemme conditioners, Suave Coconut, and Kid's Organics shea butter leave-in. I used Silicone Mix as a deep conditioner. I used to either rollerset and/or kept it in a ponytail. HTH.
