What benefits do you see using this type of brush as opposed to the others? Thanks!

for me, it takes all of the "fluff" out of my hair, which i like. i still have to smooth it with a regular brush, though, before i put my scarf on.

I use this brush while wet wrapping my hair (not while dry) It grabs every hair which makes for a smoother wrap.

I think I read somewhere that a paddle brush is designed for long hair. Its supposed to help smooth out long hair. I used to love using mine until I found out its not good to brush. Now I use it to stimulate my scalp before I wash.

IMO, it gets the wrap smooth. I have a big ole paddle brush (think it's a Conair). I really like it. I purchased it a long time ago.

I think I have the same brush. My brush is a clearish blue.

I use it for wrapping my hair after a roller set.

And mine is a clearish pink. It does sound like we have the same type of brush.
