I've been co-washing almost 3 days a week but I really don't wanna use my higher end conditioners to do so but I'm also running low on my lower end conditioners.
What I need is some recommedations on some moisturizing conditioners that you guys use to co-wash. I've been using my suave humectant and MNT but neither one of those are moisturizing.

What are you guys using?

I personally have not had good experiences with Suave conditioners. The best would probably be the tropical coconut, but I have had better experiences with other brands.

I highly recommend V05 conditioners, especially the Moisture Milks line. The Strawberries and Cream is my staple. I use it at every wash. I made a Mix of the S&C, Generic PM The Detangler and PC, and it detangles and softens like a dream. I use this after shampooing and cowashing. I leave it in for 5 minutes with a shower cap, then I proceed to detangle. The results are phenomenal.

Also, the Tea Therapy line by V05 is good as well. HTH.

I've heard alot about this. I'll have to add this to my list. Thanks!

My favorites too. I'm glad I switched from Suave to V05 although Suave Coconut was good too.

e$h, pretty twistout in your siggy!

I use V05 and Suave but lately I have been using Trader Joes Nourish Spa conditioner and I am in love...its like 2.75 a bottle.

I used to use Suave Tropical Coconut. When I ran out of that I bought Tresemme Remoisturize, it's a very large bottle for $4. It works very very well, really remedies dry brittleness. My hair is always unbelievably soft/moisturized after using this.

Thank you:D

My mother in-law (soon to be one day:grin: ) has this and I just glance at it that's it. I never really heard any reviews on it so that's why I kept it moving. Humph, maybe I'll give it a try. The bottle is pretty big and if it works out, I won't have to worry about getting another bottle for a while.

Dove and Tresemme are the cheapies I have used in the past. But my tried and true is the Mane-n-Tail condish because it does not over-moisturize it leaving it limp.

I've read some reviews on this from Nice N Wavy and she likes this too. There isn't a Trader Joes close to me but there is one like 30 minutes away. $2.75 isn't bad so I just might consider this as well.

That's what I've been using and I love it but isn't it more of a protein condish?

I bought a gallon of Tresseme from BJ's for $11 dollars. It works great! If I really want to show off I add some of that stinky Jehri Rehdding (sp?) natural protein (about once a week) and my hair turns out moisturized and awesomely soft! HTH

I love Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Conditoning Cream ($6 for large bottle). It's great by itself, but I also use it with the Salerm Protein Conditioner ($22 for large bottle). I put a nice amount of Salerm on first, then I generously apply Garnier on top of that. HTH:)

Suave Coconut was my baby's daddy for a long time...right now I'm on the 'PJ Use It Up' Challenge so I can't buy anymore till I use up the rest of conditioners but, I would def. recommend this.

Thanks for your responses ladies. Anymore more ladies out there that co-wash? Come on, I know there is....

Another vote for Suave :) I use the Tropical Coconut and I also use the V05 Tea Therapy. Both work great for conditioner washes.

I use Mane and Tail Original Conditioner. I get a big bottle for about $6 at the beauty supply store.

Hydrasilk TLC in the pink bottle works for me and my co washes. It is not that expensive either!!!

IA. I highly recommend VO5, too. Strawberries and Creams is the best. I love the smell and the moisturizing results.

Doesn't this have a good amount of protein in it?

I've never heard of this. What does it look like and are there different types of bottles?

It has protein in it but it's moisturizing enough for me to use it everday. Once a week I shampoo my hair and follow up with a moisturizing deep conditioner.

This is one of the conditioners that I use too, I just wanted to alternate it with a moisturizing conditioner, ya know.
Thanks.

Just wanted to update.....

So I went out and bought Suave coconut condish and so far so good. While rinsing, my hair felt nice and soft but towards the end it felt a little weird - not a bad weird but a good weird (if that makes sense). I'm gonna continue to use it since it didn't make my hair hard, coated or tangled.

Thanks guys for all your responses. If this one doesn't work out I'll try using some of the other recs that were mentioned in the thread.

My favorites are Suave moisturizing, VO5 moisturizing (moisture milks), Tresemme moisturizing conditioners, I also like Garnier Fructis L & S mixed with a dab of oil. I only use my MNT for shampoo wash days. And I use the original as a leave-in too.
