Saturday I went to my favorite dominican salon. I got there at 7:35 since they open at 7:30. There were six ladies in front of me. There was only one lady there doing hair until 8:15. So first of all, the dryer they put me under doesn't turn off, so I have to tell them that. (last time I went, they overlooked getting me in the chair because my dryer was still going). Then, she moves me to the front where they proceed to forget about me again. I finally went to the back and told them. Now, I really like how they do hair, however, my time is valuable. I lost money messing around with them. Would you go back?

If it's a problem you can help them solve without making you feel uncomfortable I would say go back. I don't like waiting and I certainly don't like to be forgotten about by someone I'm paying to do my hair. I like personalized service. But at Dominican prices I could give up a little personalization, but not my time.

See that's the thing. First off I'm petite, so I think people just overlook me:lachen: But the thing is by time I pay for gas that $25 wash and set $35 with deep conditioner is no more economical than me getting it done around the corner.

If you like how they do hair, then go back .. but make sure that you SPEAK up when you realise knowing is paying you any mind. Women stop going to the salon for way worse ...

You have to speak up in those instances..... but if it continued - I would find another salon.

I'd return if I liked the results but next time lift the dryer when your hair is dried and make eye contact.

silent customers are not good customers. In your silence, you are accepting the inferior service. If you speak up professionally and calmly, it gives them a chance to fix the problem.

:yep: Yup. Especially if you are a regular at this spot. Let them know as soon as you are not happy with something.
